Composition 2 – Activities I like doing in my free time

Paragraph 2 – Your favourite hobbies activities you do in your free time and say when and where you do them.

Composition 7 –  Write a dialogue

Imagine you are calling a ticket office to get tickets for your favourite band.
Be sure to include a proper greeting, ask about the date, the time and the cost of the tickets.

Composition 8- Write about your favourite artist
Paragraph 1 – INTRODUCTION

Paragraph 3 –  Give more information about the artist. Where and when they were born. Most famous painting.

This composition should be written in present and past tenses.

Composition 9 –Illness and treatment

Paragraph 1 -Describe a common illness, such as the cold or the flu, skin infection or stomach flu.

In winter, one of the most common illnesses is the flu. . .  The flu is a . . . .

Paragraph 2- Describe the symptoms of this illness and how you feel at the beginning, then, when you have the illness and finally when you are recovering

Paragraph 3- What you can do to prevent or treat this illness, such as washing your hands more often, drink lots of liquids, use antibacterial.

Composition  10 – My Favourite food

This composition should be written in present simple. Use linking words, (first, then, next…).

Composition 11 –  Role Model

Write about a role model you admire. Use the article and the paragraph headings on Student Book page 35, exercise 1 to help you. Remember to use linking words from Exercise 2

Composition 12Health Questionnaire

Write a health questionnaire for your class. Include questions about lifestyle, illnesses, accidents and blood groups. If you like, you can present  the information in a chart or a poster.

 Think about your Carbon Footprint. Write about a normal week in your home. How much rubbish does your family throw away? How much plastic does your family recycle? How much paper do you waste? Think about how many plastic bags you use and cans you throw away? Do you recycle bottles? List ways you can help to improve the environment
